As of August 15, 2025, this project completed the Schematic Design phase about two weeks ago. Phases 1 and 2 will be developed in tandem through the Design Development phase, at which point in time, Phase 2 will be put on hold. Phase I will continue through construction documents and into construction. An architect and a construction manager have been selected. A firm construction schedule has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000364800 Cherry Creek School District is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide comprehensive design services for Phase I of the Cherry Creek Campus Master Plan. This includes the demolition of the existing administration buildings and the construction of the new Cherry Creek High School buildings which are to include Athletics, Classrooms, and the Cafeteria. A portion of Phase II will also need to be designed. Phase II includes additional Cherry Creek High School buildings that will include the Administration, Media Center, and Performing Arts Building. The District is exploring the idea of a mechanical plant for the campus, and design discussions will need to occur regarding this. The project objective is further identified per Exhibit A - Scope of Work/Schedule of Items as well as the project description provided in the RFP solicitation supplemental attachments.
