The excess excavated material may be reused by the Contractor on the site of the project if it meets the engineering specifications for its intended reuse and if it meets the requirements of the Management of Fill Policy set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. In all situations, the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding the handling, use and disposal of excavated materials. 6.
