Fire Station 2 Improvements The Town of Narragansett's Point Judith Fire Station is located at 900 Point Judith Road, Plat K Lot 461-1. The existing property is approximately 0.89 Ac and the existing building structure is a wood and block frame building originally constructed in 1976-77, with no major additions since. The building footprint is approximately 2,700 square feet single story slab on grade with a small loft space dedicated to storage. 2,000 square feet of the building is apparatus floor which is the home of Engine 2 and Rescue 2. The remaining 700 Square feet accommodates the living space for our 24-hour staffing. Station 2 is currently staffed 24/7 by a minimum of 2 Fire Department personnel who are responsible for cross-staffing an engine and a rescue. Point Judith personnel are also tasked with assisting in the maintenance and staffing of Marine 2 the "Maia Stanton" a 31-foot CBRNE Fire Rescue Vessel berthed in the Port of Galilee. The Fire Department is pursuing improvements to the building that will allow for additional staffing quarters and expansion of the apparatus floor areas to better accommodate additional equipment, functional working and storage space and the overall needs of today's newer and larger Fire and EMS apparatus. This bid package is for expansion and renovations as detailed in the attached plans and technical specifications. NOTE: Each Bidder's attention is called to the following supplemental requirement that must be included within his\her bid proposal: In accordance with Executive Order 12549, Debarment and Suspension, 29 CFR Part 98, Section 98.510 (as may be amended), for all construction contracts with a value over $25,000 that involve the use of Federal funds, all Bidders must certify that they are not suspended or debarred from doing business with the Federal government. The "Federal Debarment Certification Form" (Appendix F of this document) must be completed and included with bid. All bidders shall be registered with SAM.gov and shall include their SAM.gov "Unique Entity ID" with their bid stating that they are registered (in addition to the "Federal Debarment Certification Form) and shall comply with all terms and conditions of 2 CFR Part 200 and the American Rescue Plan Act fiscal recovery funds program.
