Submit questions not less than 2 days before date set for receipt of Bids. Replies will be made by Addenda. The Owner requires the Projectto be completed in 150 calendardays from date of Notice to Proceed. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of a sumno less than five (5) percent ofthe Bid Price but not more than$10,000.00. This project has received awaiver approval from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM)from the Build America, BuyAmerica Act provisions criteria; however, all Contractorsand subcontractors must stillcomply with the AmericanIron and Steel (AIS) requirements and must provide theappropriate documentation. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. Each bidder must deposit with his bid,security in the amount, form,and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Bids may beheld by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract. This project is being funded by local funds. Each Bidder, and each Subcontractor, is required to complete and submit Document 00450 - Affidavit of Immigration Compliance along with their E-Verify Program Memorandum of Understanding at the time of the Bid. No Contract will be awarded to any Bidder who does not submit the required Immigration Compliance documents. The Owner reserves the right toaccept or reject any or all Bids.
