Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Burlington Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work to Be Performed Under This Contract Includes the Furnishing of Labor, Tools, Equipment, Temporary Support Structures and Materials for Tower Spans Deck Replacement for the Burlington-bristol Bridge. The Work on the Bridge Structure Includes the Removal and Replacement of the Cross Beams, Deck, Steel Curbs, Sidewalk, Bridge Railing and Deck Joints Along the Tower Spans of the Burlington-bristol Bridge. Bridge Railing Removal Requires the Relocation of Existing Conduits Attached to the Bridge Railing. Conduit Relocation is Required to Be Completed Prior to Demolition of the Bridge Deck and Other Bridge Elements With New Cabling Tested and Approved. A Structural Health Monitoring System is Installed on the Bridge Which Will Remain Operational Throughout the Project. As Necessary, the Contractor Shall Provide for Maintenance & Protection of Traffic While Work is Being Performed as Required by the Engineer. The Contractor is Required to Coordinate With the Engineer All Temporary Bridge and Lane Closures for the Approval by the Commission. Any Questions Regarding the Registration Process Are to Be Directed to Helpdesk@bcbridges.org Print Format of the Bid Package, Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act Established Rates, is Available at the Burlington County Bridge Commission, Tacony-palmyra Bridge, Maintenance Building, 1325 Route 73 North, Palmyra, New Jersey 08065. Bidders Shall Be Qualified Under Njdot Work Type Classifications, 4. Bridge or 5. Heavy Highway and 42. Complex Truss Rehabilitation for the Main Work Tasks as Described in Section 104 - Scope of Work. The Remaining Work Tasks Shall Be Performed by the Bidder, if Qualified or by Qualified Subcontractors. Bidders Are Reminded of the Percentage of Work Which is Permitted to Be Subcontracted in Accordance With Subsection 108.01 Subcontracting. Late Bids Will Not Be Accepted or Considered. The Burlington County Bridge Commission Assumes No Responsibility for Bids Mailed or Misdirected in Delivery.
