The Town of Orange, Connecticut is seeking sealed bids for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for the Brookside Drive & Glenbrook Road culvert project. Question Deadline 10/21/2024 CONTRACTORS that have questions on the plans, specifications, and other bid documents or that find discrepancies and/or errors in or between plans, specifications, quantities and other matters, must immediately notify Robert Brinton at bbrinton@orange-ct.gov and Gary Giroux at gary@cardinalengineering.com not less than ten (10) days before the scheduled bid opening Form 819 Standard Specifications and Supplemental Specifications may be obtained via the Connecticut Department of Transportation's website. All Proposals must be on the form furnished by the Town of Orange for the above-named project. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid a certified check, or a bid bond, for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid as provided in the Information for Bidders. THIS CONTRACT IS NOT SUBJECT TO STATE SET-ASIDE AND CONTRACT COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS The attention of the Bidders is called to the requirement for Minimum State Wage Rates to be paid under this Contract. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Orange.
