MR&I Office Remodel Contract 2-6.. Question Deadline Oct 17, 2024 The Project consists generally of the following scope of Work. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the Standing Rock Rural Water System. BIDDERs shall follow the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) regulations. CONTRACTORs awarded projects within the exterior boundaries of the Standing Rock Reservation are responsible for payment of TERO Fee in the amount of two and a half percent (2 1/2 %) of the gross receipts from each Prime Contract. CONTRACTORs are also responsible for the payment of a 1% Tribal EPA Permit Fee. Arrangements for the payment of these fees is to be made prior to beginning work with the SRST TERO Director and Tribal EPA Director. Prior to beginning work on any contract or subcontract, the CONTRACTOR and any SUBCONTRACTORS shall contact the TERO Office and complete a SRST TERO compliance plan. All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, acting through the Standing Rock Rural Water System, reserves the right to award the Contract, if awarded, based on the lowest responsive Bid(s) that is in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner, with or without Alternate Bid Items, to reject any and all Bids, to consider other factors in selecting the Bid which is in the best interest of the Owner, and to waive any and all irregularities in any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements.
