As of November 20, 2024 project was awarded to Norwest Construction, Inc., awarded amount is $119,637.80. The work covered by these Contract Documents consists of the reconstruction of approximately twelve (12) ADA Ramps along IL 251 between Harlem Road and Roosevelt Road. Reconstruction includes PCC removal, HMA removal, earth excavation, PCC sidewalk and detectable warnings, HMA paving, and associated restoration and traffic control. City: Machesney Park County: Winnebago State/Province: IL Scope & Purpose of Work The work covered by these Contract Documents consists of the reconstruction of approximately thirteen (13) ADA Ramps along IL 251 between Harlem Road and Roosevelt Road. Reconstruction includes PCC removal, HMA removal, earthexcavation, PCC sidewalk and detectable warnings, HMA paving, and associated restoration and traffic control. The Village has entered into an agreement with IDOT whereby the Village will reconstruct the ADA ramps and certain medians, and IDOT will then resurface IL 251 between Windsor and Melbourne upon completion of the Villages project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
