Webb County is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified contractors for the Webb County El Pico Road Widening and Paving Improvement Project. The proposed scope of this project is to widen and reconstruct an existing gravel County Road. The scope of work will consist of asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, emulsion, excavation, embankment, demolition, grading, pavement reconstruction, utility adjustments, flexible base, subgrade preparation, storm drainage improvements, concrete pavement, traffic control and erosion control improvements. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. The estimated construction budget is $4,200,000. The construction schedule is 180 calendar days from the issued notice to proceed. This document outlines the requirements, selection process, and documentation necessary to submit a formal CSP. See attached plans and detailed specifications for more information on scope of work. This public works project is being solicited to assist Webb County in completing and implementing programs and/or projects funded with its allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The solicitation will comply with the Texas Government Code; 2269.151 Contracts for Facilities: Competitive Sealed Proposals and with the Code of Federal Regulations 200.318 - 200.327 (General Procurement Standards).
