The City of Owasso, Oklahoma will accept sealed bids for the DEMOLITION, REMOVAL, and REPLACEMENT of PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, SURFACING, FENCING, and all related appurtenances . The work is generally described as follows: Demolition and removal of existing playground equipment and structures and construction of a new playground to include the installation of playground structures, the construction of a safety surface, as well as the construction of a perimeter fence. A Bid Bond is NOT required for this project. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and appurtenances necessary for the demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing playground equipment and play area surfacing. The same or likeness of a Nucleus-Intensity Play System or an equivalent to include a freestanding swing unit and a playground structure for ages 2-12 years and a separate playground structure for ages 2-5 years. Five (5) stationary 6' Steel Benches with backs to be placed around the perimeter of the playground, inside the fenced area, and set in the concrete. The color is to be determined by the Owner. Approximately 340 LF of concrete curb (The final amount of concrete curb required will depend on the type and configuration of play structures installed, as well as the necessary clearance or fall zone required for safety.)
