Per the owner, construction is complete. The Plumas County Department of Facility Services and Airports is responsible for maintaining several County owned buildings and Properties throughout Plumas County. This includes, but is not limited to, routine maintenance, HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, yard maintenance, and Capital Improvement Projects. The purpose for this Invitation for Bid is to seek and enter into a contract with a Contractor that holds a California Contractors License C-13 Fencing Contractor issued by the state of California, to supply materials and labor to construct approximately 160 lineal feet of 20-foot-high chain link fence and 4 chain link gates for the backstop and foul ball area at Rotary Field on South Redberg Ave in Quincy Ca. Plumas County Facilities will remove and discard existing fence and backstop. Services to be provided by the contractor to the Plumas County Facility Services and Airports, and the amounts of the services, shall be as follows: 1. The Contractor shall a. Shall provide engineered drawings appropriate for 20ft high fence b. Layout and auger holes for posts c. Set posts in concrete d. Construct 160 lineal feet x 20' high chain link fence e. Construct and attach 4 chain link gates in the same position as the current gates f. Clean up and remove all unused material and waste from project g. All work to be done in a safe and workmanlike manner to industry standards h. All work will comply with the California Building and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Building professionals shall have all necessary licenses from the appropriate licensing agencies, and such licenses shall be current and in good standing. The contractor shall provide copies of those licenses to the Plumas County Facilities and Airports upon request. The contractor and all professionals providing services under this contract must be covered by general commercial liability and professional malpractice liability insurance policies with minimum coverage limits no less than $1,000,000. Responding parties shall submit Certificates of Insurance evidencing such coverage as part of their proposals. Failure to include these Certificates of Insurance in a proposal may result in the rejection of that proposal. The term of the contract is from the date of approval of Board of Supervisors and ends on April 15th, 2025.
