Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Florida. Design plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project will provide funding to design a new park at the approximately 9-acre riverfront park bounded by Catherine Street, Bay Street, and Hogan's Creek which is governed by Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program restrictions. In addition, this project will provide construction funding for that park as well as the recreational park components, including the pier removals and improvements, designed by the CRA on the adjacent unrestricted lands. This scope clarification is applicable to funds remaining from prior year, as well as current year appropriations, and future year budgeted funding. As of January 8, 2026, this project is in the design phase. Construction is set to begin in 2026 and last through 2028, though a firm timeline has not been established.
