Blount County, TN is accepting sealed bids from pre-qualified General Contractors on behalf of Tuckaleechee Utility District for Utility Improvements projects. Contract A: Water Line - This project consists of constructing approximately 12,776 linear feet of 12-inch, 707 linear feet of 8-inch, and 20 linear feet of 4-inch ductile iron pipe water line, two 16-inch HDPE river crossings installed by the horizontal directional drill method (total of 950 linear feet), and associated appurtenances. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Contract B: Booster Pump Stations - This project consists of three (3) pre-engineered, skidmounted water booster stations (400 GPM, 700 GPM, and 1,050 GPM), including buildings and appurtenances. Bids shall be on a unit price basis . Work of this Contract includes the installation/execution of the following: 1. Installation of 400 GPM, 700 GPM, and 1,050 GPM pre-engineered, skidmounted water booster station (total of three - complete); 2. Demolition of Existing 411 Booster Station. 3. Access Roads 4. CMU buildings; 5. One Master Water Meter; 6. Suction and Discharge Piping including connections to existing water mains; 7. Backup Generators; 8. Grading and site work at booster station sites; 9.
