The intent of Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) to solicit sealed proposals from qualified vendor(s)to provide preventive maintenance and repair services to mechanical and /or refrigeration equipment in the SchoolFood Services Program of Washington County Public Schools (WCPS). Deadline for Written Questions Submission: October 15, 2024 by 1:00 PM Eastern Time Questions and inquiries should be emailed to Scott Bachtell (bachtsco@wcps.k12.md.us) with a copy to Mike Embly (emblymi@wcps.k12.md.us). Tentative Award Date: November 19, 2024 The initial contract term shall be effective from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. The contract may be extended for four (4) additional one-year terms, at the discretion of the Board of Education, with all terms and conditions of the original contract remaining unchanged. Bidders automatically accept the possibility of contract renewal as a condition of award. WCPS reserves the right to determine completeness and/or timeliness of bids, to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to make partial awards, award to one or multiple bidders, to waive any informality in any quotation, to increase or decrease quantities if quantities are listed in the bid, to reject any bid that shows any omissions, alterations of form, additions not called for, conditions, or alternate proposals.
