Site work and paving for a civil project in Howey in the Hills, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Howey-in-the-Hills (the "Town") is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) from qualified Contractors for the construction of a new Stormwater Quality Unit along with new curb and gutter (the "Project"). Engineering plans and construction documents for the Project have been prepared by Griffey Engineering and approved by the Town. The Project constitutes a public construction work to be competitively awarded pursuant to Section 255.20 of the Florida Statutes. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified and responsive bidder as determined by the Town. The Town intends for the Project to be completed within a period of three months from the Notice to Proceed. Questions are due by 2pm EST October 11, 2024. Answers to the questions will be posted on or before 5pm EST October 15, 2024. Per owner all bids were rejected, and this will re-bid at a a future time e and dater TBD.
