Renovation of a residential development in Pittsburg, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of September 24, 2025, documents have not been drafted yet, the project has not been finalized. A contruction start date has not been established. The property located at abovementioned address (Property) is owned by the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburg (Housing Authority). There is a tenant (Tenant) currently residing at the Property. The Tenant has been experiencing sewage back-up into the sink, toilet, and bathtub. This problem has occurred on and off for the past 2years. The Housing Authority is seeking a contractor to perform the work as described below Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a Payment and Performance bond is required for Public Works projects of this kind involving an expenditure in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00). Contractor is responsible for including any associated costs in their bid All Bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California to do the type of work contemplated in the project. The Successful Bidder shall possess a valid Contractor's License issued by the Contractor's State License Board at the time the contract is awarded. The class of license shall be of the classification applicable to the work specified in the contract. All bidders shall be licensed in accordance with laws of this State and any bidder or contractor not so licensed is subject to the penalties imposed by such laws. The contractor must possess a valid business license to operate in the City of Pittsburg The City of Pittsburg reserves the right to reject any bid and the right to waive any minor irregularity or informality in the Contract Proposal. Costs for submitting a bid is the sole responsibility of the Bidder and the claims for reimbursement will not be accepted by the City.
