Successful bidder shall provide services for Asphalt Crack Sealing Services, as outlined in this document, on a schedule to be acceptable to the City The work described herein involves the supply, delivery and controlled application of hot mix asphalt crack sealing product on city roads, alleys and parking lot surfaces. The Bidder shall furnish all Personnel, Equipment and Supplies to complete the Asphalt Crack Sealing Services based on an estimated quantity of 2.33 center-line lane miles & 1 Parking Lot & 1 Outdoor Ice Rink and Airport runway and taxi areas. The materials and service provided shall conform to the latest MDOT standard specifications and special provisions appended to this document. The equipment to be used shall be designed specifically for efficient liquid crack sealing application. Bids are being solicited only from responsible bidders known to be experienced and regularly engaged in work of similar character and scope to that covered in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). Satisfactory evidence that the bidder has the necessary capital, equipment, personnel, experience, etc. to do the work, may be required. The City of Boyne City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in their best interest. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, it deems to be in the best interest of the City Bids shall address, to the greatest extent possible, all possible service delivery impacts, including, but not limited to, bid prices, equipment, etc., throughout the term of the contract. The City seeks to have this service completed on/or before May 30, 2025.
