SCOPE OF SERVICES The consultant will collect traffic volume and vehicle classification data at 80 locations, including the 75 roadway segments listed in Appendix A and at an additional 5 locations to be determined by the RPC at a later date. The consultant should attempt to collect counts at locations as close as possible to the latitude and longitude listed for each site in Appendix A. For locations that do not have a predetermined latitude and longitude, the consultant should select the most appropriate site following consultation with the RPC Project Manager. Any issues regarding the exact location of the count within the roadway segment will be resolved in consultation with RPC. The 5 additional locations will be determined before the onset of the overall counting program. All will be within Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, or St. John the Baptist Parish, and will be on a roadway that is accessible by the consultant. In the event of a roadway closure, detour, or lane modification due to construction or other activity, consultant will advise the RPC Project Manager of the issue and will work with same to adjust site locations within delineated roadway sections or otherwise make accommodation for revised count location.
