Renovation of a municipal facility in Fountain Valley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) invites qualified Bidders to submit Bids for the CONTROL ROOM RECONFIGURATION AT PLANT NO. 1 Project. This Project will reconfigure the existing control room at OC SAN Plant No. 1. The Work includes the relocation of equipment in the existing control room to a temporary location, demolishing existing console, installation of new console and workstations, and electrical and control modifications to support temporary and new workstations. The Engineer s Estimate for this Project is $1,050,000. This Project requires the following classification of Contractor s License: "A" or "B" Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300, Bidders may substitute approved securities to ensure performance under the Contract. The Project is subject to prevailing wage laws and requirements. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed are on file at OC SAN s principal office and are available upon request or can be obtained online All contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5 to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or perform work on the Project. The Project shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4. The Project is located at Plant No. 1 at 10844 Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. This project will reconfigure the existing control room at Plant No. 1 to accommodate the new Operator Workstations for the Distributed Control System being installed as part of the Process Control Systems Upgrades, Project No. J-120. The work includes the relocation of equipment in the existing control room to a temporary location, demolishing existing console, installation of new console and workstations, and electrical and control modifications to support temporary and new workstations. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OC SAN until 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), November 5, 2024. Written questions must be sent by email at construction@ocsan.gov to the attention of Clarice Marcin, Senior Contracts Administrator.
