As of October 22, 2025, the project is on hold. A general contractor has not been selected but will likely bid openly to general contractors in the future. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Solicitation Summary The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids from qualified contractors for the electrical upgrades to the flow equalization building located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Public Works Department, 16550 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland. The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the IFB.
