Proposals from qualified firms to provide bi-annual, Household Hazardous Waste Event services for the Forsyth County, City of Cumming and Keep Forsyth Beautiful, Inc. for calendar year 2025, with the option to renew the services on an annual basis for calendar years 2026 and 2027. Question Deadline 10/30/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Location : Online portal. The County intends to contract the services of an experienced, qualified contractor to establish and operate a household hazardous waste collection facility at the Cumming Fairgrounds Parking Lot at 235 Castleberry Rd, in Cumming, Georgia. The contract is for a one-day event, at a date to be determined. The County reserves the right to negotiate the date for the current and renewal years. Tentatively, the first waste collection day under this contract will be held on a Saturday in May of 2025. Collection period shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (local time). It is the County's intent that this Request for Proposal ("RFP") permit competition. It shall be the Proposer's responsibility to advise the Procurement Agent, in writing, if any language, specification, etc., or any combination thereof, inadvertently restricts or limits the requirements stated in this RFP to a single source. Such notification must be received by the Procurement Agent not later than ten (10) days prior to the date set for acceptance of the proposal
