The cost to be somewhere between $20k and $40k The City of Ann Arbor's Procurement Office is soliciting bids for the repair of a large crack in the concrete wall of East One Aeration tank as well as the corresponding pump galley. Any Bid which does not conform fully to these instructions may be rejected. The City expects the job to be completed before frost is in the ground, estimated at this time in late November 2024. In the event the work cannot be completed before then, the pricing received via this bidding process will be extended after the winter freeze to allow this work to be completed before June 2025 upon mutual agreement between the City and the successful bidder. An agency may not bring more than two persons to the pre-bid meeting. It is strongly suggested that one of the two people in attendance for an agency be the intended primary contact for the agency if the contract is awarded to that agency. The conference room meeting will be followed by a facility walk thru. Access to the City of Ann Arbor's Water Resource Recovery Facility will not be made available at any other time. All questions regarding this ITB shall be submitted via email. Emailed questions and inquires will be accepted from any and all prospective Bidders in accordance with the terms and conditions of the ITB. Further, the contractor and/or service provider shall not be allowed to take advantage of errors, omissions or discrepancies in the specifications. The City intends to award to the bidder that provides the best value to the City which may include references, past experience, past performance, and qualifications. The City may, at its sole discretion, award line-by-line or in any other manner that serves in the best interest of value to the City. After the time of opening, no Bid may be withdrawn for the period of one-hundred and twenty (120) days. A sample of the General Services Agreement is included as Appendix A. Those who wish to submit a bid to the City are required to review this sample agreement carefully. The City will not entertain changes to its General Services Agreement. The City reserves the right to award the total bid, to reject any or all bid in whole or in part, and to waive any informality or technical defects if, in the City's sole judgment, the best interests of the City will be so served. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
