This Request for Information ("RFI") is issued by Strathcona County (the "County") for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to the County and provide the information requested below. The County is currently managing flow monitoring in-house. The County is considering undertaking a public procurement solicitation to select a supplier to manage flow monitoring, including providing and maintaining the equipment necessary for flow monitoring, and providing reporting on the information captured through the flow monitoring equipment. Earlier this year, the County posted RFP# 24.0005 Strathcona County Flow Monitoring Program (the "RFP #24.0005") to procure this service; however, the County had to cancel this RFP due to budgetary constraints. The 24.0005 RFP documentation and the pertinent supplemental information included with that RFP is attached to this RFI for reference. Respondents can refer to the RFP #24.0005 documentation for a more comprehensive understanding of the Deliverables (scope of work) and project background that the County had previously established. The County intends to conduct a public procurement process in the future to enter into a multi-year contract to deliver a flow monitoring program, similar to what the County attempted to procure through RFP #24.0005. As such, the County is seeking information from respondents to assist us with developing our revised Deliverables to better align our requirements with our budget.
