The purpose and intent of this Quick Quote is to establish a contract with one qualified vendor, hereinafter referred as to "Contractor" to provide labor and materials to remove and replace six (6) Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) in HVAC units, as specified herein, at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (JYF) an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia hereinafter referred to as "Agency". Work Location: Jamestown Settlement, 2110 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185 Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for (90) days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. An award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible. Evaluation will be based on grand total. Unit prices, extensions and grand total must be shown. In case of arithmetic errors, the unit price will govern. If cash discount for prompt payment is offered, it must be clearly shown in the space provided. Discounts for prompt payment will not be considered in making awards. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. Provide labor and materials to replace the four (4) failed drives in the Education Wing: AHU-01 1. All work shall be completed during normal working hours Monday through Friday. 2. Provide lockout and tag out of the affected mechanical system. 3. Provide all trucking and rigging as required to compete all repair work 4. Disconnect wiring for the VFD's for the supply and return fan. 5. Remove and dispose of existing VFDs 6. Provide and install new VFD's. 7. Reconnect electrical connections and 8. Reconnect Alerton BAS control wiring. 9. Perform startup on new VFD's. 10. Turn over documentation to the Agency. AHU-02 1. All work shall be completed during normal working hours Monday through Friday. 2. Provide lockout and tag out of the affected mechanical system. 3. Provide all trucking and rigging as required to compete all repair work. 4. Disconnect wiring for the VFD's for the supply and return fan. 5. Remove and dispose of existing VFDs 6. Provide and install new VFD's. 7. Reconnect electrical connections 8. Reconnect Alerton BAS control wiring. 9. Perform startup on new VFD's. 10. Turn over documentation to the Agency. Provide labor and materials to replace the two (2) failed drives and bypass in the Permanent Gallery Wing: CWP #4 1. All work shall be completed during normal working hours Monday through Friday. 2. Provide lockout and tag out of the affected mechanical system. 3. Provide all trucking and rigging as required to compete all repair work. 4. Disconnect wiring for the VFD for the CWP #4 pump. 5. Remove and dispose of existing VFDs 6. Provide and install new VFD with a bypass position. 7. Reconnect electrical connections and 8. Reconnect Alerton BAS control wiring. 9. Perform startup on new VFD. 10. Turn over documentation to the Agency. CWP #5 1. All work shall be completed during normal working hours Monday through Friday. 2.
