Description of Project: Replacement/relocation of approximately 30 feet of new 4 inch water main, 30 feet of new 6 inch water main, 705 feet of new 8 inch water main, 120 feet of new 10 inch water main, 10 feet of new 12 inch water main, 110 feet of 16 inch water main and 10,980 feet of new 20 inch water main, and 3,890 feet of water house connections to serve Bock Road and various streets in the Fort Washington area of Prince George's County, Maryland. The work consists of furnishing and installing a new pressure reducing valve vault and associated pipes and appurtenances to replace two vaults, to be abandoned in place, at Browns Lane adjacent to the intersection with Bock Road in Fort Washington, Prince Georges County. The vault will include a field set 8-inch PRV control valve and a 6-inch pressure relieve valve. Upon specific release for construction, the contractor may begin procurement of materials and work MV6807A19. Anticipated direction to occur on or prior to June 1, 2024. The MV6807A19 project is itemized as lump sum work.
