Renovation of a municipal facility in West Brookfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
We will be on site if anyone wishes to have a walk through of the site. Repair of existing siding, soffits and ornamental wood trim of the Town Hall and replacement of two exterior doors. Word to be performed under the National Parks Service Preservation Brief guidelines. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. General Description of Disrepair: Door does not operate properly Door rot/ swollen Transition at threshold exceeds AAB/ADA requirements Wood base test for rot, may need to replace Side planting bed drains into paved area Proposed Corrective Action: Replace door and hardware Replace wood door frame Replace threshold to meet AAB/ ADA regulations (max. transition) Possibly install power assist door operator Edge planter bed to keep drainage away from paver area
