A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The deadline to ask questions is 10/30/2024 12:10 PM CST Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 170, hereby gives notice that sealed unit price Bids will be received for Generator Replacement for the Wastewater Treatment Plant by Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 170, in Harris County, Texas (the "Project"). Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a cashier's check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article I, sections 1.3.c. and 1.3.d. of the Contract Between Owner and Contractor. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids submitted by the responsible Bidder, who, in the judgment of OWNER, will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 calendar days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of OWNER.
