Site work for a water / sewer project in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Damons Point Docks Replacement. Four existing 20-ft. long by 8-ft. wide wood floats are to be replaced with four 20-ft. long by 10-ft. wide aluminum-framed, timber-decked floats. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing floats at Damons Point with new floats. The existing floats will be removed by the Harbormaster Department for disposal by the Town. The selected vendor shall construct and deliver the new floats to Damons Point. Actual delivery location will be the boat ramp at Roht Marine, 2205 Main Street, Marshfield, MA 02050. The Marshfield DPW will assist by helping to unload and setting new floats in the water at the boat ramp. The Harbormaster staff will assist with towing and pushing floats/docks into place at Damons Point. Once in place the selected vendor will be responsible for connecting dock sections together and securing them to existing pilings.
