Any proposals received after said time and date will not be considered by Owner. All proposals will be evaluated and project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the proposal openings. Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Owner. Barrow County is soliciting Proposals to identify firms with proven experience and expertise performing fencing removal and installation services related to Victor Lord Park Pickleball Court Refurbishment Project. Submit fixed price (lump sum) proposals to provide services related to replacement of existing fencing. Objectives: SUMMARY Project address is Victor Lord Park, 175 2 nd Street, Winder GA 30680. The site is within the park and is currently utilized as an existing pickleball/tennis court area. The purpose of the project is to remove and replace ~700 linear feet of fencing and installation of new fence with interior fencing sections added. Envisioned Scope of Project: The County envisions the following minimum scope of services for the pickleball site project: o Preliminary Work - The Contractor will provide for the removal of all existing fence at the pickleball court area and the subsequent replacement with new black vinyl coated fence matching the following specifications: o 6' tall around perimeter of entire court area `700 ft. o 4' tall fence - 3-sections ~100 linear feet each between each court area as designated on the image below. o 1 5/8" top, mid and bottom rail installed along each section of fence o 3" end post o 2.5" Line post o One 4'foot wide x 6' tall gate installed as depicted on diagram below. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals, to evaluate proposals, and to accept any proposals which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner. No proposal will be rejected without just cause.
