Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington (District) is requesting submission of qualifications to provide professional engineering services as needed to support the District's Energy Supply Management (ESM) research The District is in the process of establishing an internal Engineering Research Department that is tasked with researching potential options (technologies) for energy and capacity supply, supply demand management, and other engineering research to support the District's needs. The District anticipates that their research needs will exceed the capacity of the District's Research Group. It is also anticipated that additional subject matter expertise will be required to support the research needs. The selected Respondent(s) will provide subject matter expertise and resources where the District may not have expertise in-house or does not have adequate internal resources to support the project The District reserves the right to postpone or cancel this RFQ, or reject all SOQ's and/or Price Proposals/Rate Schedules for any reason. A decision to postpone or cancel the procurement and/or not enter into a Contract shall not result in any claims or causes of action or costs for damages by any Respondent against the District. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
