The Region of Halton is issuing this Request for Tender to obtain a Contractor to provide labour and material for acoustic fence repair services for the Region on an asneeded basis for unforeseen, unplanned, and emergency work. Locations will be throughout Halton Region (Milton, Halton Hills, Burlington, and Oakville). The scope of work may include, but are not be limited to the following major activities: Supply, repair and construct replacement acoustic wooden fence panels, gates and appurtenances to match existing type and dimensions. Supply and install new wooden fence posts complete with concrete footings. Re-set footings and stabilize existing posts to plumb Removal and disposal of all waste materials, concrete footings, fence posts, fence panels, vegetation and debris within acceptable timelines. Repair of any sod or landscaping damaged as the direct result of construction activities as identified in the specification Supply and installation of metal supports/brackets for repairs to concrete acoustic barriers.
