Water Tower Project Details of the project scope include the painting of the interior and exterior of the 72 ft. water tower with a 50 ft. bowl diameter, 37' head-range, and a 5' diameter wet riser and address safety issues. The City of Hebron is seeking proposals for the selection process to enter into a contract to provide services for interior and exterior painting of our water tower. The selected contractor will work in consultation with the City related to cost, scheduling, materials, supplies, public awareness/ safety and any other issues that may arise during the painting and repairs. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor informalities. Containment of the water tower to properly remove the lead paint and ensure the safety of residents 3. Abrasive exterior cleaning to take it to bare steel 4. Spray with zinc primer 5. Spray on epoxy coat and apply top coat of urethane with brushes and rollers 6. Interior abrasive cleaning to bare steel 7. Blow down interior to prep for zinc primer 8. Apply strip epoxy coat with brush and roller to all welds, seams, corners, and edges (all areas prone to erosion) 9. Apply expoxy coat to entire interior surface 10.
