The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Westside Elevated Tank Site Improvements as follows: Remove and reinstall parts of the fence and gate, installation of underground piping to direct overflow farther to west, and on-site grading improvements. All in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by City Utilities Engineering Department. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. Question Deadline 10/21/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Design Manager in writing. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. EBE goal for THIS PROJECT is 10% of the Contract Price
