SFY 2023 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project- W. 79th Street and Bayview Avenue: The Project Involves Approximately 1743 Tons Of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Courses, 1750 SY Pavement Milling, 3,244 SY pavement removal, nineteen (19) Drainage Structures, 1566 LF drainage pipe sizes 8-inch to 12-inch, and Restoration Including Road Restriping, Driveway, Restoration, Landscaping and Cleanup. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Finance Office. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Long Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
