Site work for a water / sewer project in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Scope of Work includes the following major items: Tank washout and sediment removal Interior and Exterior Tank Painting Tank disinfection All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted, in writing, to Engineer. Replies will be issued by , mailed or delivered to all parties, recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days before the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. The cutoff date for written inquiries is November 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Funding Statement: "This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. "The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is ten percent (10%)." "The invitation to bid is on an unrestricted basis whereby the successful bidder must fulfill the SED utilization requirements." Bid Bond: N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21- The guarantee shall be in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, except as otherwise provided herein, and may be given, at the option of the bidder, by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. The check or bond shall be made payable to the MONROE MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY. All blank spaces in the proposal, except as otherwise noted, must be filled in; and no change shall be made in the phraseology of the proposals or of the item mentioned. All information that may be requested of the bidder in these specifications shall be included with this proposal. All erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form shall be initialed or signed by the bidder. All technical questions may be directed to Bryson & Yates Consulting Engineers, LLC, via email at wroorda@brysonyates.com . The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 2004 c. 57 and submit proof of a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and submit proof of business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and labeled "KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS (WELL 8) WATER TANK PAINTING" and shall be addressed to the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and/ or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid, which in its judgment, best serves the interest of the OWNER.
