The project aims to reconstruct the Grant Chamberlain parking lot to improve functionality and safety. Additionally, stormwater improvements will be made to mitigate any potential flooding and improve drainage in the area. The project will be carried out in accordance with all relevant codes, regulations, and best practices. It will be designed to minimize disruption to the surrounding area and provide a safe and functional parking lot that meets the needs of Montana State University (MSU). Bids equal to or greater than $150,000 must be accompanied by a bid security meeting the requirements of the State of Montana in the amount of 10% of the total bid. After award, the successful bidder must furnish an approved Performance Security and a Labor & Material Payment Security each in the amount of 100% of the contract for contracts equal to or greater than $150,000. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids except as noted in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities or informalities and the right to determine what constitutes any and all irregularities or informalities. Time of Completion Bidder agrees to commence work immediately upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and to substantially complete the project by August 1st, 2025.
