Materials and installation of polymeric geotextiles used in roadbeds and sidewalk beds purpose of which is to: .1 Separate and prevent mixing of granular materials of different grading. .2 Act as hydraulic filters permitting passage of water while retaining soil strength and granular structure. A Bid Bond for an amount which is equal to ten per cent (10%) of the stipulated lump sum price of the Bid, signed, sealed and issued by a surety to transact business in the province or territory of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to approve or reject any surety, in its reasonable discretion. The Bid Bond shall remain valid and will be retained by the Owner until the expiry of the irrevocability A 50% performance bond and 50% labour and material payment bond for Contracts over $100,000.00, issued by the surety which issued the Bid Bond and Agreement to Bond, in the prescribed forms, where specified. Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/10/21 12:00:00 PM CDT Once accepted in writing by the Owner and the Consultant, the Contractor shall commence work, and achieve Substantial Performance of the Work prior to June 6, 2025. Total completion must be achieved no later than June 13, 2025 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
