The Rehabilitation of Four Culverts - West Demarest Avenue, Green Street, Wilbur Street, and West Palisades Avenue. The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes Superstructure replacement and repair, substructure repair, concrete crack and spall repair, curb and sidewalk repair, pipe repair, mill and pave as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed Work, which have been prepared by Darren Ferlazzo, P.E. of the firm of T&M Associates, are available at the office of said Engineer at 11 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ, 07748 and may be inspected by prospective Bidders during business hours. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to City Clerk of the City of Englewood. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "City of Englewood" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made unless and until the necessary funds have been provided by City of Englewood in a lawful manner. The City of Englewood intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. The City of Englewood reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
