Oconomowoc Wastewater Treatment Plant Solids Handling Building Roof Replacement Work officially known as "Solids Handling Building Roof Replacement" consists of replacement of the existing roofing on the Solids Handling Building including removal of the existing roofing to accommodate the new roof installation; disposal of removed roofing materials; installation of new insulation boards & ballasted membrane roofing system; flashing of all penetrations, parapets, gravel stops & drip edges; & concrete roof pavers. New roof shall be provided with a 20- year labor & material warranty. There will not be a prebid conference. Prospective bidders may visit the site to inspect the structure by calling the treatment plant contact number listed above. All bidders must complete & submit a Bidder's Qualification Questionnaire with the bid. See Instructions to Bidders. Contract letting shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the WisStats 62.15, 66.0901, 66.0903 & 779.15. In connection with the performance of work under this contract, Contractor agrees not to discriminate against any employees or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, handicap, sex, physical condition, developmental disability or national origin. This provision shall include but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer; recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff & termination; rates of pay or other forms of compensation; selection for training including apprenticeship. Contractor further agrees to post in conspicuous places available for employees & applicants for employment notices setting forth the provisions of this non-discrimination clause. Bid security is not required. Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond & Payment Bond acceptable to the City of Oconomowoc for 110% of the Contract Price for each of the above Bonds in accordance with the requirement of the Contract Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any & all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serve the interests of Owner. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the Owner.
