Hollows Drainage Project This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and subject to the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) Rules and Regulations 31 CFR Part 35 and 2 CFR Part 200 All proposals are subject to the Sumner County Governments conditions and specifications. Sumner County, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, encourages firms that are women or minority owned, emerging small businesses, veteran owned firms, and all other qualified firms to participate in this request for proposals. The Contractor shall refer to the property restoration descriptions included in the bid package. Specific properties required certain accommodations due to the project impacts. For example, mailboxes and entry monuments will be damaged due to construction and must be replaced in-kind. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 210 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - If the existing landscaping is damaged during the course of construction, landscaping will be replaced in kind after construction is complete. The new plantings will be coordinated with property owner. - - - - The existing mailbox will be maintained during construction. During project construction driveway access will be maintained and any closure will be coordinated with the property owner. If needed temporary access will be built. If the trees are damaged/removed during construction they will be replaced with new trees (4" diameter caliper or greater) in the same general location. Tree species will be coordinated with property owner. Any damage to the property during construction or while removing trees will be restored to an in-kind condition or better. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 201 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - - - - If the existing mailbox is removed during construction then a new mailbox will be built back with the same likeness and material, specifically the use of natural stone. Care will be taken to protect the existing trees along the stream bank. If the trees are damaged during construction they will be replaced with new trees (4" diameter caliper or greater) in the same general location. Tree species will be coordinated with property owner. Gabion baskets will only be used as represented in the plans (beginning at the pipe outlet and extending along the curve) and will not be stacked. The existing ground slope will be tied into the top of the basket and stabilized with permanent vegetation. Internet service must not be disrupted during construction. The fiber optic line must be located and marked prior to construction. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 206 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - Restore the existing brick entry monument in-kind. Salvage the existing pole fixtures. Property owner shall approve brick color/sample prior to commencing work. - - - - Landscaping and plantings surrounding the entry monument will be restored in-kind. If magnolia trees are removed or damaged during construction then replace with two new magnolia trees (4" diameter caliper or greater) in the same general location. Driveway closure will be coordinated with property owner prior to commencing work. The new portion of driveway will be a broom finish concrete instead of matching the existing exposed aggregate. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 233 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - Regardless of project impact the Bradford Pear tree will be cut down and removed. - - - The wood from the Oak tree will be cut into logs and placed behind Mr. Rion's house. All disturbed areas will be restored with clean topsoil and all new vegetation shall match the existing. The Oak trees removed during construction will be replaced with new Oak trees (4" diameter caliper or greater) in the same general location. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 204 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - The finish grading in the front yard shall slope towards the street and remove any low spots. - All existing downspout connections to the stormwater system shall also be provided in the proposed stormwater system. PROPERTY ADDRESS: 197 The Hollows Court, Hendersonville, TN 37075 - Contractor shall stabilize the eastern stream bank in the area behind the black metal fence with gabion baskets. Gabions shall match bank height. Refer to permit for additional details. This work is not represented in the plans. Contractor shall follow manufacture installation details.
