Site work for a civil project in Leland Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Owner will receive sealed bids from Contractors for the Leland Twp - Sunset Shores Decentralized Sewer System Project located in Leland Township, Lake Leelanau, MI 49653. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes the following items: o 5,300 linear feet of 3-inch diameter, HDPE Force Main, directionally drilled along N. Sunset Shores Dr., with Air Release Valves and Clean Outs, as shown on the plans. o 34 sanitary force main service connections with check valves and curb stops o Site balance, 24,192 sf drain field, concrete tanks, pumping equipment o Secondary treatment system (Sludgehammer) FOLLOWING APPROVAL the construction period begins April 14, 2025. Construction deadlines are as follows: o Project to be substantially complete by June 13, 2025 for all Bid Packages. BIDS: Proposals will be received for the following Bid Packages o BP-1 Sanitary Force Main o BP-2 Drain Field System o BP-3 Secondary Treatment System BIDDING: Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Proposal Form and other bidding requirement documents may be obtained by contacting the township office. Bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any Leland Township administration personnel. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 120 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, waive irregularities, and to accept the bid that in their opinion is in the best interest of Leland Township.
