The work is in one Contract and includes the following general items of work: CONTRACT 23-02 CATOOSA AREA WATER LINES o 8 Lump Sum connections to existing Water Lines o 7,711 L.F. of 4-inch SDR-21 Class 200 PVC Water Line o 160 L.F. of 4-inch Class 350 RJDIP Water Line o 4,850 L.F. of 6-inch SDR-21 Class 200 PVC Water Line o 160 L.F. of 6-inch Class 350 RJDIP Water Line o 25 L.F. of 8-inch Casing Pipe for Open-Cut Crossing of Wilson Road o 45 L.F. of 12-inch Casing Pipe for Open-Cut Crossing of Creston Road o Three (3) Each 4-inch Gate Valve Assemblies o Four (4) Each 6-inch Gate Valve Assemblies o One (1) Blow-off/Flush Hydrant o One (1) Fire Hydrant o Two (2) Air Release Valves as described in the Detailed Specifications and shown on the Plans. The successful bidder is required to furnish both an acceptable performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Question Deadline 11/15/2024 at 2:00 PM CT In compliance with TCA 12-4-126(a) and (b) the ENGINEER will not issue addenda less than forty-eight (48) hours before the bid opening date and time; further, any questions concerning the bid documents shall be received by the ENGINEER before ninety-six (96) hours prior to the bid opening date and time. The allotted time for construction for this contract is 180 calendar days. Liquidated damages are one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per calendar day.
