Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Warrenton, Missouri. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Warrenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Work to be performed under this contract will be performed as follows: A new mechanical grit system capable of processing up to 12MGD peak will be constructed. Two new 65-foot clarifiers will be installed to the west of the existing oxidation ditch. Launder covers will be installed on all four (4) clarifiers to aid in the control of suspended algae solids Additionally, a new sludge handling system will also be constructed. New sludge digestion tanks will be constructed. A new Screw Press is to be installed within the new sludge press room, and a new open air 60-foot by 100-foot canopy will be installed for dried sludge storage. As part of this project the demolition of existing sludge and grit systems are to be demolished as per the project plans and specifications. A bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid Price is required. This project is a prevailing wage project and will conform to the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations' Division of Labor Standards, Annual Wage Order No. 31. The Annual Wage Order contains prevailing wage rates for each occupational title in Warren County. The prevailing wage is the minimum rate that must be paid to workers on public works construction projects in Missouri. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
