Renovation of a multi-residential development in Creighton, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The Creighton Housing Authority is requesting bids for Removal and Replacement of all existing storm doors and trim coil. SCOPE: The scope of this project is to remove the existing storm doors and replace them with new storm doors. The trim coil around the buildings shall be removed and replaced as well. MATERIALS: The contractor shall provide all materials except the doors needed to complete this project. INSTALLATION: The contractor shall provide all labor associated with completing this project. INSURANCE: The contractor shall provide a current copy of workman's comp. and liability insurance with Creighton Housing Authority added. MISCELLANEOUS: Everything will need to be cleaned up at the end of each day. The contractor shall be responsible for all permits, fees, sales tax, and inspections required by either the city or state. All work shall be completed by March 31, 2025. Creighton Housing Authority reserves the right to refuse any and all bids. Must be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Davis-Bacon Wage Act for minimum wages shall be followed. Section 3 Businesses are strongly encouraged to Bid. Must comply with General Contract Conditions from HUD It is the purpose of these specifications to provide the basis for a contract to remove and replace all storm doors and trim coil in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and in compliance with all rules and regulations of authorities having jurisdiction; meeting all Federal, State, and Local Codes in Buildings A-1, A-2, A-3, B-4, C-5, D-6 and E-7 at the Creighton Housing Authority in Creighton, NE. The Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor needed to remove and install to the point of destination. The doors have been purchased and are in storage at Creighton HA. Bid and Award Each bidder shall visit the site and thoroughly acquaint himself/herself with all conditions incidental to the completion of all work specified. Arrangements for inspection shall be made through the Executive Director, Jody Fuchtman, Creighton Housing Authority, 1106 Millard Ave., Creighton, NE 68729 Phone number is 1-402-358-5668 or 402-841-0444(cell). Office hours are Mon., Wed., & Thurs., 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Please call for an appointment. Completion Time The requirements of the Housing Authority are such that no bid can be considered which does not provide for completion of all work specified within 90 days after the Contractor has received the "Notice to Proceed". Successful Bidder/Employer Requirements The successful bidder/employer shall; 1. Be an Equal Opportunity Employer 2. Comply with Davis Bacon wage rates 3. Complete payroll verification worksheets weekly 4. Comply with HUD General Contract conditions 5. Section 3 Businesses are strongly encouraged. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
