As of 10/23/2024 - No Bids Were Received Construction of a channel bank stabilization and riprap project. The project is located along the Bostwick Canal, within Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18 of Township 1 North, Range 9 West, west of the intersection of Road E and Road 2100 in Webster County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "Bostwick Canal FEMA Bank Stabilization" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required to shape 1.0 mile of the Bostwick Canal stream bank, 567 tons of rock riprap, remove metal scrap riprap, and related incidental work. Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is April 1, 2025. The Webster County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received Note: Anticipated construction start date will be near the end of November 2025. The Contactor shall verify with the representative with the Kansas Bostwick Irrigation District prior to mobilizing to the site to ensure that the canal has been drained and for coordination of the access to the canal.
