This project consists of removal of (3) existing skylight systems and providing and installing Insulated Translucent Fiberglass Skylight Panels at the Montana State Fund (MSF) building on 855 Front St. Helena Mt. This bid is governed by the laws of the State of Montana and the venue for all legal proceedings shall be the First Judicial District, City of Helena, Lewis & Clark County. The Prevailing Wage Rates for Building Construction incorporated in this bid are provided for informational purposes only. The selected Contractor will be required to comply (as a minimum allowable rate schedule) with the current Montana Prevailing Rates. Montana Prevailing Wages Rates for Building Construction 2020 Current Rates for Building Construction Effective January 13, 2024 (note: wage may be updated again in January 2025) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bid bonds are required. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid. The security may consist of cash, a cashier's check, a certified check, a bank money order, a certificate of deposit, a money market certificate, or a bank draft. Each proposal must also include as a separate bid item, the cost for the contractor to furnish 100% Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Owner.
