Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC911) requests qualifications from Progressive Design-Builders to construct a new public safety communications center using the procedure permitted under Chapter 39.10 of the RCW, as amended, for selected projects for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids. The estimated GMP is approximately $9.25M (pre-con and construction services). Validation and design are expected to begin in January 2025. Construction is expected to begin by summer of 2025 and completed by Summer of 2026. The Progressive Design-Builder shall provide high-quality services including validation, scheduling, phasing logistics, collaboration with the design consultants, manage and estimate design budgets and design contingency solutions, direct construction best-practices, organize design investigative work and provide assistance in the selection of materials and building systems, solicit and manage subcontractor bid packages and supplier bidding. The Design-Builder shall provide high-quality construction services to safely deliver a superior project that comprises the full scope of program needs set by SREC911 that is on time and on budget.
