The Town intends to make a second phase of improvements to Gateway Park, located south of New Hope Blvd., west of Gateway East Dr., and north of Schooler Dr. The proposed improvements include installation of a prefabricated shelter and restroom building, dog park facility, site utility connections, earthwork, landscaping, and parallel parking reconfiguration. This project is partially funded by the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), and all relevant federal and state requirements and special provisions will apply. Build America, Buy America is a component of LWCF federal requirements. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Town of Whitestown or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears on the current Treasury Department Circular 570. Bonds: A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded.
