Site work for a water / sewer project in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A new 450mm water transmission main and appurtenances is proposed to be constructed along the southbound lane / shoulder of Fountain Street from the intersection with Flanders Road for approximately 745m to the south. Approximately 215m of the 745m of watermain is proposed to hung from the existing Hopewell Creek bridge structure and approximately 60m is to be installed by trenchless methods beneath the active Metrolinx Rail Line. Restoration of all disturbed areas are included in the project scope. The project is divided into 3 phases with phase I to be constructed in 2025 and phase II (Metrolinx crossing) and provisional phase III constructed in 2026.
