As of February 28, 2025, construction commenced this month. Completion is expected January 2026. All trades awarded. Project Summary: The work consists of the hazmat abatement, select demolition, and renovation of the existing building, the construction of a new gymnasium & lobby addition, and site improvements at the 98 South Main Street Property. The bidder must have prior experience consisting of no less than three similar projects with an equal or greater value within the last five years. Bidders must provide verification of experience with the proposal. The Contractor shall hold a current "DAS Contractor Prequalification Certificate" from the Department of Administrative Services of the State of Connecticut according to Connecticut General Statute 4a-100, 4b-101 and 4b-91. If applicable, DAS Certified Set Aside Contractors Certificate, as well as additional items list in Instructions to Bidders, including the CHRO Contract Compliance Regulations Notification to Bidders.
